Ginger Lemon Tea
with Cinnamon & Honey
fresh ginger, thinly sliced
cinnamon stick (bark)
1 medium lemon
honey
6-8 cups of water
First, rinse and slice the lemon and thinly slice the ginger. Then, combine ginger, lemon, cinnamon and water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot. Reduce the heat and gentle cook until the lemon has softened (15-20 minutes).
Strain the solids from the tea. You can serve it with a sweetener of your choice - honey is amazing!
You can have a cup from it throughout the day.
Alternatively, you can add black pepper, cardamon, orange or mint leaves.
